since 2010, DoggHouse has been the bedrock of strength training and powerlifting in columbus, ohio.

DoggHouse doors open for business under ownership of Tim Maddy
- 2017
Jimmy and Jennifer Harris take over ownership of Dogghouse

Facilities doubled in size and additional equipment added, like a hand built squat platform, monolift and benches

Having quadrupled in size over the last 10 years, Dogghouse has been adding equipment to fill the space. You won't be disappointed in the flexibility our facilities offer for all your lifting needs, no matter the level of lifter.

cardio + Endurance
Two dedicated cardio rooms equIPPED WITH treadmills, stationary bikes, row machines and treadclimber.
Plus, we have battle ropes, sled-push, ab machines and plenty of space for all your endurance needs.
Recovery
Dedicated recovery room with body tempering + foam rollers.
The recovery room provides lifters the space to stretch out, roll out and rest. Muscle maintenance means stronger lifts and that's what we're about.
We currently partner with BDY. by Mariah who is a multi-state Recovery Specialist. She specializes in body tempering, soft tissue manipulation and graston & cupping.

The DoggHouse Classic - October 2024
The dogghouse gym held our first in house meet in october 2024. Thanks to our sponsors: sevenforty barbell, the A.P.O., Lexen Iron Workz, lloyd's down home cooking food truck, ultra human supplements, and Mainstreet treasures & tees- We had a successful TURNOUT! medals were awarded to the weightlifters who participated in the competition, the best all-around weightlifter, the best male weightlifter and the best female weightlifter.
For our loyal spectators- the event was complete with a food truck, bean bag toss games, ourdoor seating and vending area.
We welcomed vendors from around columbus like local gym sevenforty barbell, supzilla and our very own merch store. ALL OF THE MEDIA STAFF PICTURES ARE UP FOR SAVING, REPOSTING, ETC. {TAG THE GYM! #DOGGHOUSEGYM / @thedogghouse_gym}
